Not a good idea. I was confronted with a similar situation recently and I said no. Marriage is for two people who love eachother.....not for convenience.

Rummy....I agree with Jim...never assume the woman is telling you the truth about being on the pill, just like for women....never assume the man is telling you the truth that he is infertile (that is what my son's father told me ) Always keep yourself prepared. Well if it upsets some, then so be it. I do agree. I am a catholic, though I'm not heavy into the religion itself, I do have my beliefs. I do have to say, after an initially pleasant conversation with a fellow cs blogger, we got onto a similar topic such as this and I stood my ground with my own beliefs and he tried to degrade my opinions and "convert" me, so to speak. But because I didn't cave, that once pleasant conversation turned sour, ending in him telling me "That is why I hate religious people, they are so closeminded" and he blocked me from further emails. Now who do you think is being closeminded here?

Ed...it's funny you mention that lol...my siblings were a pain in the neck to...but when I was younger. Now that we're adults, I am close with 3 out of four of my sisters. One of them, we don't get along, so we just remain civil and agree to disagree.
