They are comparable and we can find similarities and differences.
FB can be also a dating site even it's not called a dating site,with the difference there are real names and locations , but even there are many fake names and accounts.
I know couples who met on FB.
It depends what you like to share, in which form than you can choose CS or FB or have both for different reasons

Since we are born we are attached to someone , first our mother then we get to know our father, our family, sisters and brothers, gran ma and gran pa, cousins and others, neighbours and fiends.
It is the nature's law to have strings and be attached to someone while we are social beings, that's why later on we want to have our own family and kids or at least to live with someone we feel close to, and all this not because we want to be loved but because we want to give love more than receive.
How ever unbelievable is we are unhappy when we have nobody to give what we have, our love, attention and material things.
It doesn't matter how much you earn or possess as material stuff you're not happy if you don't share it.

Life it may be less complicated without strings but also empty...

Alcohol brings a lot of money for the ones who produce it and from taxes and I think there are minimum chances to forbid it, but what people miss is the education. If people are not really conscious about the danger of excesive alcohol consume the problems are still there.
