there are times I like the idea - as in not keeping each other on a "leash" but to say no strings? really. please...
we are all brothers & sisters with a collective conciousness that does not permit "no strings" tho some lie to themselves and others in their denial
we are responsilbe for each other
It is the nature's law to have strings and be attached to someone while we are social beings, that's why later on we want to have our own family and kids or at least to live with someone we feel close to, and all this not because we want to be loved but because we want to give love more than receive.
How ever unbelievable is we are unhappy when we have nobody to give what we have, our love, attention and material things.
It doesn't matter how much you earn or possess as material stuff you're not happy if you don't share it.
Life it may be less complicated without strings but also empty...
I’m not sure I follow you. Perhaps you would like to elaborate more?

On the other hand, I think to be in a “no string attached” kind a thing you also need skills. Have you ever seen “No String Attached” the movie? Those 2 main characters failed.
You're right babe, no string attached, there you go the string attached exist
Captain
That is because they know you're too precious not to be attached with
at the end of the day I think what more important is being honest to one another, and in this case no string attached is honest, no manipulation of feeling whatsoever.
Pinky,
that other attachment is not what I mean in this case. Having family (I have 4 kids) is the best thing that has ever happened to me, I wouldn't have it any other way even I am given another chance to live. "I'd be lost without the weight of you two on my back", a quote I love from a very beautiful movie "Winter's Bone".
Tell me more about the four noble truth :)
so basically we are born to suffer? I saw this "narf" thing is your blog as well. What is it all about?
