"Meet" and meet and actually be together
Do you know any friends here, who meet someone here, then actually meet in person and be together?Just want to know whether this dating site really works.
Oh I met someone here back in 2012, then met him in person November 2012 when I was on my trip to Europe then we decided to give it a try. We met again January 2013 in Vietnam (he was already made a plan to travel to Chine before we met, so we agreed to meet in the middle where I don't need visa). It went well actually and on March he visited me for my birthday. But on May we called it off for some reasons.
Actually there are 2 things I want to know; does dating site and long distance relationship works?
Have you ever met someone you meet here in person and how did it go? Mind sharing your experience?

I know of a few cases of people getting together. Yes, I think it works if you don't expect miracles. You have to be very patient.
I have met several people in person, one or two just for a coffee, had a couple of very worthwhile relationships lasting around a year each and a couple of shorter term affairs.
Most of them are still together, living with each other, etc.
I have had a long -term CS relationship myself.
I don't believe in LDRs if you are not going to be able to meet the person at least regularly short-term, with the real prospect of living in the same place long-term.
Maybe like all relationships, be it starting from dating site or not, long distance or not, it can work, it can fail. Agree that the case with LDR is it is like a holiday, you make the best of it when you meet because you have been waiting for it.
I have been here in CS since 2011 or 2012 I don't remember exactly and have met some people, mostly (Indonesian) women though for friendship and sharing about dating site and stuff. Maybe to let it happen you first must believe it first. Maybe. Let's see.
