I'm a hobbyist who started playing around in my forties. I'm not good at all, when I play it's mostly a form of meditation. The most reliable path I've found to a flow state.
I think I like the gear more than I like playing though.
Also useful to combat insurance fraud when people step in front of your slow moving vehicle and fake an injury.
I'm currently shopping the dash mount units. Some have a screen for android auto or apple car play. I rent box trucks several times year and a usb powered dash top unit would be much better than navigating on my phone screen.
A family member just bought one with three cameras, front, rear and interior. It's meant to act like Tesla's sentry mode.
The superior power delivery of electric motors makes it not noticeable in the acceleration but I feel it in the handling.
My favorite thing is the regenerative braking.
Lifting off the throttle applies the regenerative braking. Essentially allowing you to begin braking before moving your foot to the brake pedal. Very nice in heavy traffic and twisty mountain roads. I'd guess about 80% of my braking is handled by throttle lift of with the last 20% being brake pedal use to come to a complete stop or urgent braking.
