She probably knew what was Going down... Knows shes not liked ...possibly more intelligent than the rest of them which they cant stand and she invented that story to make it easy for the gutless wonders involved so they would not have to face the drama of telling her some fake excuse not to Go out with them.

I dont know Lou Lou , it was very much a part of the British modus operandi to always interfere with developmental politics in the past centuries.. Australia, Canada , NZ , Palestine , India, Burma.....and the list goes on.... These days none of that happens anymore because they have learnt the lesson . The empire cracked up and continues to do so. All major invasive powers of the past , the great colonisers of the new/old world recognise how futile and wasteful it was. People want peace, the world Wants peace... America cannot do this in a peaceful way..it knows only power and aggression .., manipulation... History has taught them it is so ...yet, they are not learning the lesson.

I have no personal issues with America and its people at all . But sometimes i look at whats Going on and can see why it is becoming possible for some to begin to hate them . They want to be the saviour of the world , the do gooders Who will aid and save those in peril. If they have no interest in developmental stages of new governments when they Go awry... ( mubarak in egypt 30 years ago, Assad in Syria 20 years ago. sad dam Hussein , when ever that crackpot got Going , let alone the despots in Asia over the years, interfere when interference is needed . Why just Go in and try to clean up the mess that is impossible to clean up.
The richest country in the world is famous for making a fool of its people and itself.

I have always admired you for your natural tolerance, kind nature and intelligence.
Reminds me of something funny .
I was hit up by a guy once who was trying to impress me how " inteligent " he was , he mentioned it three times, in a note to me once , I had to tell him if he was so " inteligent" why is he spelling the word with one "l"....... I did not hear from him again.

You have deep intelligence, recognise fools easily , kind and intelligent enough to know life on earth with them needs to be tolerated, that they have their place, that you dont need any in your own life. You recognise your own needs, you fulfill your own needs adequately through your intellect, you always sound content. I would summise you have deep satisfaction in your own choice to remain single. You dont need another brain for company, you have your own amazing intelluctually scrive brain to satisfy you.

If I i meet a man Who looks at a menù in a restaurant and says its expensive..... I dont hang around long. Nothing worse than a stingey man. We dont have to eat expensive all the time , but whining about the cost of things on a first real date is not a good sign for the future.

I am very impressed by a man Who insists he pays for me , then does not expect my thing for it. T me thats a gentleman .
I in turn will always be generous on the next date by bringing a gift say a nice Hermes tie, or a Dolce Gabbana perfume for him, or ill bake a cake , or make some nice jam.
I thInk most men feel proud to pay for a lady. If she is polite and cultured she will reciprocate with appropriate gratitude. If a man takes me away for a weekend and insists in paying , after i will get tickets for him to a game or concert, or the opera if thats what interests him .
I thInk its about not taking advantage of a man Who pays, and the man not having expectations if he pays thats Common etiquette.

Oh , i forgot...I can sail your yacht for you, drive your tractor , crutch your sheep, darn your socks, feed your children , change your grandmas incontinence pants, wash your dog, do your taxes, listen to your stories about the war. I can paint your roof, clear a drain, retile your old bathroom, bathe your dog.i can build you a compost heap, and wont whine if you come home late, in fact id really prefer it.

I sew all the time. Mostly clothes for friends and my two little grandaughters. They are always telling me what they want.
When i was a little girl , my dad gave me an old sewing machine that was hand operated. On that i learnt to sew . My mother taught me . She sewed all our clothes, knitted all our pullovers and socks. We had no money for bought things. But we always dressed well.
I feel its a shame that kids dont learn this anymore in school . For us it was compulsory, along with cookery. I believe now a days with so many people unemployed and little skills its harder for people to survive on little money. We lived well on little money , because we Grey vegetables , fruit, Made jams and preserves. Keeping chooks for eggs, sewing and knitting clothes ourselves . We had plenty of money for a good holiday every year.
We had no time to watch tv. We went fishing , fossicked for mushrooms ,
When i was in Romania a couple of years ago i saw people living like this still, as we used to live fifty years ago in my country.
My parents had a lot of very useful knowledge gained from having to survive the depression.
One of them was sewing.

There is nothing i like about the food in the Uk...... With the exception of fish and chips. They are the best .
