Momo, WOW. That is amazing! You definitely have it together. Reading what you wrote gives me hope. I will try to follow your direction. Just goes to show that the young are also the teachers of the old and not always the other way around. We can all learn from anyone at any time.
I disagree with you. All ministers have taken extensive coursework in theology. They have a background to help us interpret scripture. If your line of thinking is correct then we don't need medical doctors either! Go ahead and diagnose yourself and while your at it do your won surgeries. I know kind of an extreme but it helps me to make my point.
WOW! What a tough question to try to answer! Where do you come up with them. Nobody I know comes up with more difficult questions that you do! As always I'm going to do my best to give an answer but in actually I'd probably just spend it with friends/family. BUT here is what I would like to say I would do -
Being the introvert that I am I think I would try to act like it was any other day but I would do my best to see everyone I could. AND I would try to let everyone know how important they are to me, either through actual contact, letters, and maybe even a video to say goodbye.
And of course I'd miss you LK. I hope to see everyone in heaven!!!
Very well said but this is not just for young people. I believe people of all ages can fall into this trap. Thanks for the reminder to search for a whole person and not just a pretty package.
Thank you for the reminder of what has happened in the past. Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.
That being said I personally believe that the Russian government will do everything in its power to protect everyone involved with the winter Olympics. Why? Because most people still do view them as an event that should be untouchable. It is the only time that people of different nations can come together and compete against one another and will celebrate and cry together for victories and defeats with respect for each other. What a wonderful time that occurs every 2 years. My wish for 2014 is that we will be able to enjoy that type of respect for everyone all the time.
Summer is my favorite time of the year. I like going for walks, sitting and enjoying the sounds and smells. "Playing" a little golf; if you can call it that. I like to long days of sun shine. The smell of the air after a rain, grass being mowed. I love every thing about summer.
Merry Christmas to you too. As for 2014 not being a special year; Why Not? Isn't every year what we make of it? I am challenging everyone to make 2014 a special year.
RE: Be Who You Are?
Well said.If you do not like yourself, how can you expect anyone else to like you either.
Love yourself then others can love you too.
