Honestly, this irks me !
Look, I know that perhaps it's odd of me.But, there's something that really irks me
about walking into a PHARMACY
and seeing that they sell cigarettes & cigars.
Yes, I know lots of other businesses sell them and frankly,
most businesses would likely sell heroin,
if it was legal.
It's all about profit, the almighty $
...even if it kills their clients.
But, a pharmacy ??
I guess I somehow wrongly interpret their existence
as being somewhat in the business of wellness,
focusing on health & beauty.
Don't they employ pharmacists ?
I mean, it's almost like they give their stamp of approval;
"Sure, go ahead and buy cigarettes & cigars. It's OK."
What's next, gym's selling tobacco ? Hospitals ? Cancer treatment clinics ?
I mean it's bad enough, that people are stupid enough
to waste their money and severely compromise their health
on this addictive cancer-heart attack-stroke.........etc....
causing substance, but a store supposedly focusing on
the path towards wellness somehow irks me even more
than if it was sold at....say a tattoo parlor, or a bar.
To me that would reek (pun intended) of less irony, I guess.

Makes perfect sense to sell a drug in a shop full of other drungs
They sell Nicorette gum, smoking patches, Zyban...and all these prducts are to do with the quitting of smoking. You might as well complete the circle and include cigarettes....so if you can't cure them, you might as well kill them in the process....it's a win - win don't you think ???
