RE: MD Immigrants

Welcome Fay.

Carry on.cheers

RE: MD Immigrants

Fay all I know is that once you have your foot on here, you are already a full fledged member. They give you 7 days from the mods and then you are just as legitimate as anyone even those that had been here forever, like since it was created in 2007.

Anyways, immigrant or not, you are in good standing as far as I am concerned.

cheers

RE: Anyone else awake?

Ours was big because during that time when we go and visit my ex, we had three children and had to have their own room. Three slides which was new then. Now golly, there are so many slides now it is so hard to keep up with them. One of the receiving room was converted to be a guest room.

RE: Anyone else awake?

Elle, should have been lack of demands. They are simply expensive to park. There are times when many elderly are done camping because of age and they want to get rid of theirs it is so cheap. Way cheaper than new. So yes, save big bucks and buy a pre owned ones.

RE: Anyone else awake?

Elle, yes I remember that, she must have moved so many a times. Anyways, I do miss her too. I wonder where she is at now and why haven't visited us in a long time.

There are so many second had or we call it pre owned here Elle and yes you save big bucks. Sometimes the depreciation of these vehicles are so high because of the demand. Plus the new law of California on parking these gigantic homes are very strict. Either you have a very big lot and with approval of the county you live in or pay a lot to get it parked in a Storage area.

RE: Anyone else awake?

My ex and I bought one new and then sold it after he got transferred back in the Northbay.

RE: Anyone else awake?

Robby, I have never rented an RV in the US. But I googled it and they all seem to be very competitive and reliable.

I can't post the link, I am sorry but Google it Robby and it is all in there. Research the equipment on each company and try to compare with the price. They have a wide variety of choices based on size and luxury equipment that come with it.

RE: Anyone else awake?

Oh yes Elle, talking about lavish Motorhome, they now fetch up to a million. It is outrageous. I had one with my ex called Winnebago and during its time about 30 years ago, it was the "it" geesh my ex especially ordered to have a bath tub because I am not a shower person. Complete with a living room and a receiving room. Oh my gosh it is now out of style. My ex was an engineer working in San Jose while we lived in the North bay and there was no way I would move to that place. So we had that one and was nice away from home but today, they are better built than most homes. Google them and it makes your eyes pop out especially those that can hide a whole (small) car inside so you don't need to tow it anymore as used to. I can't afford that otherwise, now that I am retired, that would be the best way to travel the whole of the US.

Well too bad you hate flying. Otherwise, tickets are cheap during off season. I will offer you my little abode to stay but there are very affordable motor home for rent, too. That would be the best way to sight see. I did that in Australia and went from Sydney to Darwin. Soo many pictures and I will too, upload them in a blog one day.

I am so tired of driving now Elle, non stop for the last three months traveling, flying and driving. I think I am going to get me a part time job now. Just to stop from going all over the place. Good news is I lost two pounds and wheew, I now need new clothes.cheers

RE: Anyone else awake?

Oh Elle, I know you have so many friends here in the US and if you google, Highway 80, or simply Reno and Tahoe and you will get the most breathtaking views. More beautiful for me that even San Moritz and Andermatt but google it for yourself. I am driving all over the Sierra now but atmosphere is so full of smoke. Pictures are blurry of the smoke. I will try to take pictures myself when I am going back next week.

I am in the Bay Area at the moment and it is very hazy. And should you plan on coming here, I would offer my time to drive you all over. Pikes Peak in Colorado is one heck of a beautiful sight, too. And so is Mt. Rushmore in Mid West.

I have taken so many pictures around the world and I will perhaps post them on another blog.

The Van that you drive with, is it like a Motorhome like we call here? Complete with bed and kitchen? hug

RE: HOW WOULD YOU BEST DesCRIBE A HIGHLY EDUCATED BUT NOT INTELLIGENT?

That is a very good one Krema.hug

My blessing, today my daughter was flown in rom Frisco and will drive with me back to the West Coast

Oh I already went back to the Bay Area because of meeting my friend from Europe in San Francisco. I am going back there on Thursday for some event after the funeral.

Thanks Oldie. I do really need a break. I will not go anywhere for a month. Just be here on the blogs, yay...cheers

RE: HOW WOULD YOU BEST DesCRIBE A HIGHLY EDUCATED BUT NOT INTELLIGENT?

Normal, I'd hope.

Intelligence is a gift. No matter how much we want to develop it if there's none to develop, sometimes it's not possible. But common sense can go a long way.

We all want to be like Einstein, at least some if not most, but recognizing our limitations is important.

We can't all be scientists. Some are needed to clean bathrooms.

I met a very good friend from Southern California who's also a member here and had a blast. We hope to meet again. Thanks for your time Oldie.

Made it to Reno and I'm a little sick because of the weather. 55 in the Bay Area. Triple digits in your place and Reno isn't bad at 80 but I'm tired of this driving now.

RE: WE ALL HAVE OUR FAIR SHARE OF HAPPINESS

Oh yeah the best part of life is to be able to experience a total bliss of happiness. I have felt more happiness than loneliness or sadness really.teddybear Having good friends, lovely children and grand children, and simply being able to wake up and know who you are is a great source of happiness.teddybear

How can you mend a broken heart

Jen my friend. Dios iti Angina.

How can you mend a broken heart

Pek, my first time to see you, welcome to blog worldwave

How can you mend a broken heart

Aa, it is given that we all have a broken heart and that it needs mending. Yes, we strive to have a perfect relationship always that will not make us hurt but it would be impossible, at least in my experience. I will have this to be the fifth and it is okay. I will survive. I will go and get myself busy like just keep on driving and going nowhere. That's it. It is very expensive in a way, considering the fuel price in California, gosh, it is costly to just be driving nowhere.

How can you mend a broken heart

Elle, that is funny. I mean you never found someone worth for you to be sad about. It is like, they were all way below your standard. Don't hold yourself up too high when in love or looking for one Elle. I just told someone who held the information that the IQ of Filipinos are so low, which of course can be right, but to make a relationship be intellectualized is so lame. We don't generally need intelligence to have a very successful relationship, in my opinion. Common sense, kindness and honesty would be more like the need.

Yes, I do hope someone will make you feel like pulling your hair because you have loved him (or her even) so much. Now don't go saying: I am crayzy oka? I am at the moment.

How can you mend a broken heart

Johnny it is so nice to see you back posting. Thank you. I will try to do just that.

Meantime, I will get back with you guys. On the road again. Local time is 9:00 am and traffic on 99 is light so I will get back to the road.

Talk to all of you guys later.teddybear

How can you mend a broken heart

Jen I am looking forward to the next one that doesn't involve love, pain, recovery and things like that. Adventure with no emotion invested.teddybear

How can you mend a broken heart

Track, if it worked for you, maybe it will work for me.

How can you mend a broken heart

Bloody, rip it off, how and what? The heart? dunno

How can you mend a broken heart

Bentlee, how nice of you my friend. I am thinking of putting them sad feelings on the poetry corner again.

That is a long time of being alone Bent. I hope you will meet her soon. Tough one to get over it. Mending I mean.

How can you mend a broken heart

Ms. Witch. I kind of feeling exactly the same way. I think it is the good memories that will make us sadder than anything else. The feeling that it is gone forever.

I wish I can get a quick easy fix and then just don't think about it.

What about a pill that will just make us forget. Like nothing happened. Even if he is around, like no love or ever existed.

That would be great. I think there was a movie like that. Curry and Winslet.

How can you mend a broken heart

Robby that is easy, I mean having your daughter breaking your heart instead of a significant other breaking it.

All you have to do is spoil her with gifts and she will be smiling with a very wide open arms hugging you.

How can you mend a broken heart

Nam how does that work?
Triple bypass.

RE: "ON THE ROAD TO LOS ANGELES"

Got snagged in Stockton with relatives and friends whom I have missed for the last 10 years, on the road in one hour to get to my destination.
