Predicament....

Loulou,

You're suggestion is a good one, but I was so angry at his 'women are 1/2 as wise as men' crack that I blocked him. Maybe this blog will do get the message across?

lol Blue. That wasn't very gentleman like, now was it?

RE: different struggles but one dstiny

Georgie, so true on so many levels.

There was a time when I worked as a housekeeper in a hospital. For me at that time, it was a good job; good pay, full-time, with benefits and holidays. And I worked hard, while at the same time raising 3 kids.

One day a nurse passed by me. She was talking to 2 other nurses and as they passed me I heard her say, "I don't know why anyone would aspire to clean for a living". It isn't what I aspired to do, but at that time it was the best I could do.

If only people would judge each other more by their integrity and less by what they have we would certainly be living in a kinder world.

RE: Friends

Hello Timotie. Peace be with you, friend. handshake

RE: Friends

I think friends are better than lovers. Friends are not as likely to hurt you. snowglobe

RE: Friends

Apparently the subject of 'friends' isn't as popular as the subject of 'love'. grin

RE: Love

Falling in love is not so hard. But after 50 you have higher expectations of a partner. So yes, it's certainly possible to fall in love after 50. It's just harder to be happy with another person.

RE: Funerals

Nam,

You'll know.

RE: Funerals

Namaron, your son will be there for you. I'm sure of it.
