coffee percolating on a camp stove. big, twisty tree to lay under and watch the sky between the branches. cool grass to play with while formulating thoughts. the sound of water or birds. the man is silent, mostly, like me.
you sort of missed my point. i would hope that people who hold a border job are trained well. better training than Walmart, where I had to have training to perform my job. i can't say that the border guard was being unfair because i wasn't there. all i know is that one can't make a proper evaluation without asking the questions and being provided with the proper documents. criminals have all skin colors and i'm sure the guards have seen plenty of brown, white, black, and shades of people. i don't think they hatched into a sterile world populated by white people.
it's a shame this happened. what's worse is someone asking how one feels about Trump...that has the potential for detaining both parties involved, for hours.
