indeed I didn't and I thought that that was to be taken for granted. What I mean is that "Jesus as described in the bible said... etc etc"


Of course what he really said or didn't say or whether he existed at all or not I don't known - although most historians agree that an entity (on or more people) called jesus existed.

However, what really matters here is the message because that is what believers live on; often blindly too.

I always find myself rather fascinated by you believing folk. I always find myself pondering the same question: How do you know that there is a god? How and why and what convinced you to that extent? Where is the god equation?

Some people manage to convince themselves to the point where they dedicate their entire lives to their beliefs based solely on a hunch and probably an old book. Mt. Theresa is a case in pt.

I think that if I could do that, I'd live a happier life. The truth might set you free but it sure is burdensome.

Indeed... so you cherry pick what to believe which is what you should do. The bible is not a science book and not even a history book. The Bible is pure literature and as such is open for interpretation. Without going into details, the born again thing you are talking about is contradicted several times elsewhere in the same book. Can't really take anything for a fact under such circumstances init?

no...the way I used the word.. it's a figure of speech. I guess everyone on the planet nowadays knows what karma is.

PS: Karma is not a Buddhist concept. It originally was and is a Hindu concept. It was later incorporated in Buddhism as well.
