Hi Pat We have a couple who take it real serious also, I have seen them almost running up to customers and they have been threated buy customers and even reported to management. don't make sense to me it is not worth all that to me, let them go..

Yes bear only items not bagged, I try to use common sense sometimes when they come out with items like water I don't ask cause it is something that can't be bagged and I just feel if the cashier didn't caych it it is ok.

Hi Stringman, yes we are not to ask for receipts if everything is bagged but only for items not bagged, and yes they can refuse to show you there receipt if they want. my point is how angry people can be for asking them, and also how some are polite. it takes all kind I guess.

Yes here we use to have a Denny's open 24 hours, on the weekend they would have to have police there cause of the drunks that come in after bar would close. And our Huddle House closes at 12 at night so they don't have the problem.

Hi Bear, yes we get cussed out and some even have come to almost fights, but I don't never let it get that far the first sign of a problem I just say thank you and let them go on there merry way. not worth dying over cause you never know people these day in time.

@ Biff Yes it is the ratings that matter to them. My comment was mostly directed at the News and the difference you see on each Network. I would like to see what is going on around the world and also here in the States but seem all of this gets covered up by what is happening with the President.

You made some good points as you always do and I respect and enjoy them, This will probably never end but it would be nice to see some real news sometime.

Hi Molly, As for myself I believe I could learn from others but try to stay true to myself also. In my last relationship I came on like I had dropped a ton of bricks on her, way to much and some like the attention and I guess some not as much. I do wish I had approached differently.

Mic, I was watching PBS yesterday and I seen something I didn't know about that day at Washington. Congressman John Lewis gave a speech and I seen where they made him change is speech several times before he was allowed to present it to the public.

I wonder if his speech would have put a bad feeling on what the message of the day was suppose to represent.

Maybe he took a more radical view on civil rights

Hi Mic I have a dream was not even in his prepared speech for that day in Washington, It was Mahalia Jackson that had just performed and was standing behind him that said .....tell them about your dream Martin.....

He had told his dream in a church in a earlier date, but we would have never heard it that day if had not been for her.

Grouch, you are right on with what you said, I knew a woman who lied so much and believed it even though we knew the truth was not in her. I often wondered if she could help herself.. I always hope the truth will come forth and settle all the issues that are at hand.

Hi CH, I know what your are saying we do tell sometimes a what we call a white lie and don't know why it is called that, but I don't like to hurt people and if I do this it is in my heart that I am saying this to up lift them not to hurt, some people needs to be up lifted but on the other hand I don't want my little white lie lead to any difficult in there life either.
