BW,. We have a big turn over to.in the last 14 Years we have been through 6,000 people. They are trying their best to work with a skeleton crew and just hire part time help. I have seen many changes during my time there and all has gone down and don't expect it to get any better.

Hi Tatami,. You know these customers are in the store for a while shopping then they have to wait in a line to check out and spend a lot of money then they get to me who wants to see their receipt to see if they paid for everything. I can understand when they get mad. Just wish the anger was not directed at the greeters.

In your case with the alarm going off when you have paid for the product it is embarrassing to them cause everyone is looking. I don't like when that happens cause it is not the customers fault or problem.

Hi BW. Vacuum cleaner between their legs I wouldn't doubt it. We are a 7/24 hours store and we only use greeters from 11 am till 8 pm look at all the time with out greeters.

Hi Sweet, yes a lot don't mind you checking their receipt and I don't mind showing mine when I am leaving the store. Some get very upset with you when you ask to see and will take it out on us the greeter's.

I really got to get out of it, didn't take retirement to be miserable for one day.

The store keeps changing, when I posted this blog we was checking receipts, then we stopped now we are back doing it and I hate it.

I am retired but still work here one day a week, I like to keep my foot in the door you just never know that I might need them one day and that one day does help me with my income.

I now have to make a decision, I am miserable there and am thinking about giving this one day up. I have been battling with this for a month or so. I am trying to look at the pros and cons, but the most that comes to me is I am just not happy with this job and I have been with the company for 14 years

itchy yes the key to self pity is how you handle it. You know some self pity might work for the good as far as looking for away out, if that makes any sense.

Hi Daniela, self pity is not good at all but I do believe we all fall into it at times just my opinion rather we want to admit it or not. Yes you could be right about being different than what we see behind keyboards but that is there life to figure out if they are true to them selves or do they want to be something different than what they want us to see.
