The Fool

@ Usha,

Hello,

No, unfortunately, I don't know Pali, the original language the stories were written. I only wish I knew all of the ancient languages ancient scriptures or texts were written in but, I don't.

I always say , "if you really want to know of what it says , go to the original text and language it was written, not the translation of it".

Could you please be kind enough to copy and paste here the whole story of the wheel mentioned in your comment for all to read?.

Thanks and take care,

teddybear

The Fool

Hello Bea and hope that you are alright,

And, silence comes with patience and control, a break that refrains you from unnecessary speech and action at the wrong time.

A break that allows you to discriminate which way to go to, which way to follow when found yourself at a crossroad.

Right, wrong, good, evil, ever lasting concepts through time and history, eternal as the human soul.

What is the human that has not expanded their mind enough going to grasp?

Either through time or history, neither with time nor history is ever going to grasp a lesson to be learned or any change of harmful ways.

No lesson to be learned , no change of ways.

P.S: Sorry for the brainstorming and thanks for the inspiration in brainstorming.peace

The Fool

Hi Crunia and nice to hear from you kiss,

The only and last thing I remember reading was the article you recommended in your blog prior to commenting on it.

No more books for me, for now and, for years now.

There's no writer for Dhammapada , just those who collected and put together into a very little book the ancient sayings said to have come straight from the mouth of Buddha himself.

Dhammapada is just that, a collection of these ancient stories/sayings in the form of poems and verses, carrying in them as I see it, wisdom.

One of the reasons being my favorite book is that, it makes me think after each verse of each chapter read.

It's a very little book that changed my life for the better , same goes for my flawed, imperfect person.

It won't take you long to read it, I'm sure, hope it benefits and provides inspiration to you as much as it benefited and provided inspiration to me.

I do know Coelho, read some of his books and I'm a fan of him as well.

Thanks for the laugh, as a matter of fact, can't stop laughing here laugh laugh

The Fool

Speaking about silence, I copy and paste below, a Cherokee prayer that, I absolutely love and always did, since the first time I've read this,

O’ Great Spirit, help me always to speak the truth quietly, to listen with an open mind when others speak, and to remember the peace that may be found in silence. —

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@Catfoot,

Good evening,

As far as the courier company is concerned, you can write a review, leave feedback and grade it , if there's such an option for the specific company online.

Yes, it does feel that "they don't ever sleep" with professional couriers, not all of companies are like that though.

thumbs up

RE: This Is What She Wanted

Catfoot,

"These people", who are you referring to? "Your Valentine" or people working for the courier company?.

confused

RE: This Is What She Wanted

Good morning Catfoot,

That's great! thumbs up

RE: To good to be true.

Thanks for the information/warning.

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@ Catfoot,

Looking forward to the update of your girlfriend and painting reaching safely their destination.

What a lovely photo! love It's said, "a photo is like one thousands words" awwww, look at how that man looks at you wow love , lovely!

You are the best, girl!! applause peace

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@ Catfoot,

laugh laugh laugh

No, Catfoot, that won't be necessary laugh but, thank you for the offer laugh . It's a fact that there are thousands at least of already single and available men around in this world and, I'm sure one of those is for me as I'm for him. head banger

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@ Catfoot,

Hi,

If the son of "your Valentine" takes after his mum in regards to all qualities mentioned and is also single and available then, I'm very interested. No problem about the distance, not a big deal to be taken care of wink

hug

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@ Catfoot,

Well, it's indeed "her sketch" now and, it fulfills all criteria or ticks all boxes wink so, mission accomplished! handshake

Yes, I was wondering whether you also found something that she liked at the flea market you went together...it seems not.

You wish......???.....wow ....very intrigued to know now wow

RE: This Is What She Wanted

@ Catfoot,

handshake

Glad that you had a good time and, all went well.

I like the surprise part (leaving the scetch on the dining table where she could see it) that went along with the present.

I'm just greatful that sharing my experience with gifts helped and satisfied plus content that I contributed positively through it.

That's why the comments section in the blogs are in place and, the purpose of it. thumbs up

handshake hug cheers

RE: Happy Valentines Ladies

Happy Valentine's to you too heart wings

RE: My Valentine

@ Catfoot,

Well, if you are thinking of an illusion, you better concentrate on what's real and reality(have absolutely no idea about who you are referring to or still investing your thoughts upon, you decide if it's worth it, your thoughts, your energy, your time).

Sorry, I really have to log off this site for now.

Have a lovely time with "Your Valentine!". Enjoy the moment and present! heart wings

RE: My Valentine

@Catfoot,

Hi,

I guess you are answering your own question in the blog, "Why am I trying so hard to impress her?" in the blog.

Are you sure you aren't in love? heart wings

RE: Trip to Inner Badui

@ Toe,

Yes, would love to hear the explanation about the colours black and white and what's behind this. As a matter of fact looking forward to it wow

@Whitelily,

I guess we would have to wait until he returns from his wonders in nature...wink

RE: My Valentine

@ Catfoot,

Or, maybe you are denying reality (not being in love) as part of "going bonkers in your old days" rolling on the floor laughing (just pulling your leg)

In any case , it's good to know that if any man goes the same trouble for me, invested a considerable amount of time, energy and effort to do what you did or any other similar actions, it doesn't mean "he's in love".
grin doh

RE: story from 2.958 m.dpl to Gede Mountain

@Toe,

What a cute little Teddy bear! teddybear Is that yours and does it have a name?

RE: Trip to Inner Badui

@ Toe,

Yes, sure to walk and run on the bamboo bridge but, does the one in your photo head to a jungle?.

No problem whatsoever to walk barefoot , as long as I'm not sleeping with snakes and, there are no black deadly spiders around.

innocent

RE: Trip to Inner Badui

Very interesting , looks like that through the baboo bridge someone can head into the jungle. Is that the case or not ? (Very intrigued to know confused ) .

Good to be transported through photos into other parts of the world on here, especially the parts of the world I hardly know anything about conversing

RE: A Gift or Not A Gift?

@ Catfoot,

Sounds like a very good plan walking together in one of the largest flea markets and having your eyes open about/seeing whether something she likes.

I'm absolutely certain that there would be something that she likes there(large flea market, too many things).

I've just read your comment about the qualities of the woman you dated and thinking that, if I ever met the equivalent in a man, I wouldn't be able or want to let go of this person..

Placing my thoughts on the side now,

It sounds that the question "a gift or not a gift" has been answered and decision about the gift made.

Have a lovely time on Valentine's day coming shortly! All the best for it! heart wings heart wings heart beating heart wings heart wings
