Free it depends what you want to achieve realy.

I have been to writers forums, and writers groups, all folk interested in reading and writing. We encouraged each other, writers block! you've had it and me for long time in regards to poetry, so a forum for writers opens your mind to new ideas.

Look at poetry forum,-- folk have made friends and very rarely (other then loonies) enter to disturb the actual poetry.

Same would be with writers forum, help given, broaden mind to other ideas, and read likeminded peoples work.
Could be a good avenues for cs, the have recieps, games, polls, music etc why not writers forum???

I think Oldeguy would get a better hearing---reading i mean and no doubts he would impart his knowledge etc. Its like a self help group. Simplz

You can still enter blogs as i have done and you too with poetry and writing win win

I still think it a good idea to have a writers corner as those interested in writing can go there.

It can be heartbreaking to write something all the hours it takes put it out and just a very few read and comment, it soon goes to bottom of page.

The blogs in the main are short and snappy reading and writing

Katte i am not as articulate as you but i went on a visit to Lindisfarne island and the old stone remains of castle walls churches etc drew me.

Standing quietly i could almost feel so long ago the inhabitants, their quarrels their fights with the pics and scots and many more from long before.

It was a wonderful mixture churning around and low and behold young lovers had carved their names on the stone bringing me back to the here and now.

I went back home and wrote a poem about old stone and thier stories.

A LITTLE STORY FROM YEARS AGO

I wanted to move again, so i asked a couple of fellows (fly by nighters ) if they wanted to earn a bit dosh.
They would hire van and move me to whatever address, i paid up front (stupid girl) i got bus 3hours journey to new apartment and waited and waited, you get the picture. Well because they had a van, they did loads of ther jobs before mine i sat in a house miles from nowhere, no kettle tea etc, no chair to sit on until 5 in the evening. All excuses etc but they said they thought that was the time i wanted them there (liars) i did find out later the money they had made in MY hired van So dear people still with smile on my face i DO no how you feel

Happy weekend now find that new place and pictures please

Well now zmountainman that is so stupid a reply to me. I suss my removals folk out before entering a contract.

I could of course just put advert up and ask for anyone to do my removals at a said fee i think not.

Dont get me wrong here, yes Biff brave girl making the move, which i have followed every step of the way, but if you make a bum choice is all i say (we all make them) then do not cry over spilt milk as they say.

If guy answered Biff for this journey on F/B, then all this moaning, he is going to know is he not, all over face book with only one side to story.

However all over and done with now, find that house Biff and if my invitation still stands, i will be making the journey and hotel arrangements myself

It would seem you knew this bloke well and his temprement BUT YOU wanted your car so used him in a way, as he did you for a cheap touring holiday, You pished him off-----(he is not your sister)-----so he dumped your car and at great inconveince you had to go all the way to airport to pick it up.

Oh i just had a gift voucher for a feet rub reflexology, first ever, my brother bought it for pressie for me, he said i know you do not like being rubbed (massaged) on the body so he bought me foot rub.

I did not think i could lie still for 30mins on each foot, but boy it did the trick i walked on air for an hour, now that was a dear hour. I could have bought more than a weels grocery for that. But i am grateful to brother he did his best and went out of his way to get me something different.

Yep that be true too, the amount of oldies that have those jell covers to cover each toe for comfort maybe they wore very high heels or tight shoes when younger

afraid i do not look at other peoples attire to see if their in pain or not, i do not eyball men to see if the have beetle crushers like mine or those winkle pickers which must pinch a mans toes and deform them, unles of course that big point is just that and their toes in up before the points start. Thats why men look as if they have biiiig feet and you know what they say about that now
