marriage was 'enforced' (not litteraly) and people didn't speak/act their mind ... all due social pressures.
Not thanks, I'd rather have it bad as far as honest ... I'll opt for present day style.... wouldn't want anyone to stick to me unless it true is outa love and free-will ..
can't you have a family build exclusively on love and pure, true feelings? Does it really have to be all based on a frugal bit of ink-stained paper? .. like, what's the value of a marriage contract compared to true, unblemished emotions for one another?
can't understand ... what's it that marriage is supposed to add if there are honest emotions involved between a man and a woman?
marriage is the most superficial thing on earth ... mixing in interests with emotions is MORBIDLY APPALLING!
Not to mention the fact that it's an utter fakery ... and u must be a master liar to promise someone else that u'll love her/him for the rest of u days...
...not cause u will not love 'em till death do u apart but simply cause u cannot promise such a thing!
perhaps... rather than a gift, it's more like every second u spend alive, god is granting u the opportunity to redeem uself & hence get the ultimate 'price' ....
I once heard 'em say that god is the only one who has a say on life/death ... meaning that it's him who decides when u die ... it's only him who can take life back ....
...now, when u give a gift to someone, do u control how that someone uses the gift and even worst, take it back when u feel like it?
conclusion: I dunno the answer to your question ... and I do think that no one knows exactly either...
well ... kay ... still, at the end of the day, he wouldn't have popped over at the ER so end result would have been exactly the same... so ... i cannot see the difference practice-wise; but, I mean, ... if u say it's imp ...
well i know that I'm supposed to burst in tears and so on ... but ... u know, perhaps her bf was working or studying or so on ... I mean ... it ain't always possible for a guy to quit his life just to keep his girl happy ....
RE: Money Can't Buy Me Love
