I wish I lived in the 1930"s
Marriages where strong.Things where simple.
No drama and non existance of all these insane illegal drugs that has made the world go mad.
Homosexuality was rare.
People where not so dramatic.
People had well managed lives.
I swear I rather be alone than marry a irresponsible woman.
God where is the normal, non dramatic easy going heart of gold.
I am wondering if she exists, I am hoping<<<<<<<<<.
Good Lord

I have to agree people seemed more real than, deceit to some people is just like brushing your teeth. If I know where I stood with someone I can have more tolerance towards them. Watching your back 24/7 isn't what I call a want.
I think most women would agree that back in the 1930's was at the very least, repressive.
Many homes never had electricity in the 30s, not much fun in the winter months. Outhouses were a common sight as well (imagine in the middle of a snow storm having to walk to the outhouse up to your waist in snow at 2 in the morning).
The world was always volatile, there was just less press and information availability.
It would not be possible to go online and write a blog.
Typical punishments for when a child done wrong usually involved a belt, length of rope, or a stick.
A trip to the dentist was best described as a experience not to be forgotten soon.
My grandmother told me about the start of NASCAR. I lived with her for a time when I was young, and the memories are great! She lived through so much, having been born in 1891.
In the meantime, society today may need a few more generations before we really learn to integrate the best of both worlds. The 1930's did have a wholesome theme which if was a theme for our society today, would be welcomed.
Take the best of our society today and the best of the 1930's and it would be a step closer towards a utopia.
Not thanks, I'd rather have it bad as far as honest ... I'll opt for present day style.... wouldn't want anyone to stick to me unless it true is outa love and free-will ..
Now this is one blog where I will agree with you%100!! Hey, ya know of anyone who has a time machine??
