Hey Choco. I was sad when I heard it this morning and was listening to the tributes on the radio. I grew up with her music. She definitely was the disco queen.
This is my favourite song (yep I even like some disco music
Also people who work in the public such as doctors etc. don't want to put pics up. I had an anesthesiologist contact me. He didn't want to put a pic up because of his job but had no problems emailing me a pic.
@Ariel We've been rated #1 the last couple years for hospitality and I read the other day that we have this course here that was provided to everyone in the industry just before the 2010 Olympics to ensure visitors enjoyed their stay here. Now Britain is taking it for their Olympics. They need some help apparently!
@Sweet He's right, watch out for the Sasquatch! Thank god you have a man there to protect you!
And the most important thing you should bring............tunes!!!! You can't camp without music! So bring your favourite music or maybe someone will have a guitar!
Glad the mossie's won't be getting you. I'm lucky they don't like me. Guess I'm not sweet enough!
@Ariel
Let me know how she finds it here. She probably won't be able to see and do everything but I'd love to hear what she thinks. I'm biased of course! I HOPE the weather is good for her as we get a lot of rain but less now that we're headed for summer.
Our country is not 'empty' either. And he can not figure out if it gets really dry here a campfire is a fire hazard? I don't think we need more disasters.
@Jana
I hope she likes my city. It really is a beautiful place and I hope she will find us friendly. We're just having our first stretch of warm weather since the summer so she'll be coming at a good time unless it happens to rain. The only thing I don't like here is sometimes you will see people begging for money and sometimes sleeping on the streets. I guess every city has their problems though. All in all it's great here. Just went to a beach I've never been to before on the weekend. It was fabulous. Miles and miles of beautiful white sand.
I would just bring ginger tea but probably not as effective as adding fresh ginger maybe. Zweet if you're hands get cold just stick them in your guy's jeans. He'll love it! Or you could have some fun in the tent!
A drinking ban? Never heard of that! Hope you enjoy the campfire. Most of the summer we can't have one here cause it gets so dry so if you want to now's the time to go. That's the best part! Well and the swimming! Are you going to a lake or out in the boonies?! And who's the man heh heh? (Joking! Don't answer!)
Lol! I forgot it was the long weekend coming up! Have fun camping! I love it but I haven't gone in years. Next time I go camping I'm bringing one of those blow up mattresses! Beats a foamie!
@Lindz Lol, I was gonna say you'd hate Vancouver! Now I guess you would love it. It rains a lot here and sometimes we have the odd thunderstorm. It rains so much here we call it 'liquid sunshine'. At least it's better than snow! But I'm use to it. We're happy when summer finally arrives!
Cherish every moment you have with her Lindz as they grow up so fast. I always wish my nieces were little again. Such fun times and it goes by so fast! Now they are starting to date which makes aunty worried sometimes!
haha. poor and hot, what am I gonna do? Well that's better than unattractive and rich! I think you should just embrace your looks and learn to live with it, sad as that is!
That was late 60's early 70's. I don't know it too well. It was a British show. I remember watching On The Buses and Benny Hill. Have you heard of them? They were pretty funny esp Benny Hill.
Sorry to hear you're having a bad day. It's ok to vent to get it out of your system. Maybe you can talk to a friend or family member about it. Just remember pain eases with time. Hope you have a better day tomorrow and if you need cheering up just think of your sweet daughter and the silly things she does that make you laugh! I'm sure she's the one that keeps you going.
@Diamond When I think about aging and wish I was 20-25 again, I just think well it's better to be 43 than 80! And when I hit 80, I'm going to wish I was 43. So I try to be happy with the age I'm at. What's the alternative, death? I want to live a little still. And sometimes I think, age doesn't matter, until the day you die.
