No, you are right here. I feel the same way. There will always be a part of me that loves my Late Husband. This is VERY NORMAL and a different type of Love than what the Op is talking about.

You are ok.

The OP is talking about being in love with more than one LIVING person at the same time.

I only add:

Make a journal describing your feelings and why. As you Journey through, this search, it will help.

Find a person you trust to share with, some one that will be unbiased and supportive, email me even to have that support if you have no other.

Give yourself time. Take the time to explore this and GIVE yourself, permission to heal.

As well, do I. I will respond to all that send emails, flowers or ecards, to me, in respect for them having taken the time to do so.

I let them know I am only offering friendship, b/c I am meeting a gentleman I have been corresponding with for the last 6 months here on CS.

I feel I would want to know and since I would want to know, they deserve to be treated the way I would want to be treated-It is only respectful
