But that said it looks like his latest album is set to be one of his best. Rough and Rowdy Ways features what looks to turn out as another Dylan masterpiece...Murder Most Foul which was released as a single from the album even gave Dylan his first number one on the Billboard Chart back in April.
"Bob Dylan’s Trump-Card Album"
"Unlike the teasingly inexplicable “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Murder Most Foul” is blatantly political, describing the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. That is the one seismic Sixties incident that Millennial media denizens don’t prattle about because it cannot be manipulated for contemporary political purposes — unlike the Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. killings. Dylan ponders its significance in the low, whispery voice that haunts his new album Rough and Rowdy Ways in a timbre that is both intimate and accusing throughout."
"We’re gonna kill you with hatred, without any respect We’ll mock you and shock you and we’ll put it in your face We’ve already got someone here to take your place."
He's still touring though, well he was before the lockdown. It's known as "the never ending tour." I did read in one review of a recent concert, he should call it a day if only for the sake of his fans.
I think to answer that question we need to some degree define what 'soul' is. Psyche is the Greek word for soul. The psyche is that which the ego is not. That is to say, the psyche, or soul is of the unconscious mind, while the ego drives the conscious mind and in doing so strives for complete autonomy. It could be argued that some are more connected to their psyche, or inner self than others. Some are totally connected and driven by their ego and give little thought to Self and meaning. Perhaps I could refer to a short extract from a chapter, The Search For Meaning from a James Hollis book....
"Individuation obliges an ongoing dialogue between ego and Self. Out of their exchange the splits of the sundered psyche may partially heal. A functional definition of Self, then, would be the archetype of order within us. That is to say, the Self is an activity of psyche whose function is to further the development of the individual. One might say that the Self, selves, or that we experience it selving through our somatic , affective and imaginal experiences. One could also describe the Self as a 'willing matrix', that is, both teleological and contextual, both purpose and container. Psyche or soul then, is simply our word for the mysterious process through which we experience the movement towards meaning. Whether soul is in fact there is unimportant. What matters is that in such venues one may experience the depth, the intimation of mystery, which constitutes soul."
The article is really just stating the obvious and not very well at that. Not least of all the title is, four types of toxic people you should avoid, then goes on to list five. Perhaps they thought we'd be so engrossed reading these 'revelations' we wouldn't notice.
I reality, we all have these negative traits to some degree or other. Perhaps it would serve us better to look more closely at our own actions and intentions now and again rather than seek them out in others.

You're doing well if you can afford just a beach hut there let alone a house. I noticed a beach hut 10ftx4ft not far from there at Mudford Spit has just sold for £350,000 and that came without running water or electricity.
Oh I see. It's a pity you didn't go in. Any apprehension you may have had would have been dissolved as soon as you entered the building, I can assure you of that.
It seems the nearest Buddhist centre to you is in Boston. It's a Kadampa Buddist Centre and they will do weekly introductory classes. As for many such places, they are closed until further notice.
