OK, but why in the heck are the utilities taking a hit right now?
And GE took a dive too recently but it's dividends keep on coming. It stock value is still less than half it was worth four years ago but their making record profits, they're not paying any taxes and they've outsourced gazillions of jobs overseas!
I smell GREED by the world bankers......

Hi, John.

I believe you're correct and that applies to most precious metals, except physical silver is tied to paper and futures.... which is why it's value rose to ~$50 per troy ounce then abruptly fell to the mid $30 USD range a month or so ago.

I believe the COLA formula intentionally does not include necessities like the cost for food, transportation and health. Go figure?

Here in the state of Ohio, USA, I believe anything acquired by an individual prior to a marriage is not considered a marital asset; thus reverting back to the original individual... including cash, stocks, bonds, real estate etc... with some exceptions whereas the other party involved helps maintain any of the aforementioned stuff.
