Have you tasted pistachios from Iran or Masina, Sicily? ..... both are sweet and have a beautiful aroma. Irans were extremely popular here.

Yes, Pakistan has great pistachios but Ali won't give them up either. Iran's are primo though and we haven't been able to import them in the states for a long time.

It's a silly request I made with Ali some time ago for pistachios and then the trust question came up.

The stupid USA federal government hasn't relaxed import restrictions on Iran for a long time now. Hopefully the restrictions won't last as long as the stupid restrictions on stuff from Cuba. It's been over 30 years since we've tasted Pistachio's from Iran in this country (legally).
