Yes, i would do it too. I was 28 when I decided to leave South Africa and head for Ireland, I was just young enough still to do something that crazy, if I were a year or 2 older I'd probably still be in SA. Night G
Wow, thats amazing. wish I had the balls to do something like that, I often feel like just packing my bags and leaving everything behind. South Africa is a great place to visit, so much to see and do, but not such a great place to live unfortunately.
If money was no option I'd go to South Africa to see my sisters son who was born 3 weeks ago. Then I would probably go to China, would love to see China, my brother and one of my friends have been and they loved it.
My sister has been all over Europe and she said Turkey was her least favourite place, said you couldn't take 5 steps without someone trying to sell you something.
Of course anyone who paid even the slightest bit of attention in history class will know racial segregation began the minute Jan Van Reibeeck arrived in SA in 1600s. I was just referring to Apartheid which was introduced by the ruling National party in 1948.
Congratulations, that's great, hopefully I'll be able to say the same in 6 years. I'm just using good ol' willpower, but in fairness I wasn't a heavy smoker, usally smoked around 10/day
