Very interesting shell. I thought that a heart specialist wouldnt have let him quit cold turkey if it was going to endanger his health. This information has confirmed it.
In your opinion he may be risking hardened arteries but if he doesnt stop smoking he is a dead man forshore, better to take the risk than die tommorow. At least this way he stands a chance if he kept smoking he didnt. And the difference is he has had a heartattack and is now on medication to help his arteries. Had the vietnam vets had a heartattack already? Is thier 100% proof that stopping smoking killed them? Is their even a slight chance that they had health problems already that were not treated and they were the cause of thier death. And lm not having a go at you Rob lm just stating my opinion.
Chatting to him right now Martia, he is doing fine. He is off to his Doctor for a follow up checkup shortly. Thanks for asking Yes lm ok too, over the shock now and lm happy cause l know he's doing ok.
If its the guy l think your talking about he cleared a big fire break area around his house got a huge fine and was in the process of fighting it when last years horrible fires hit, he was the only one who didnt lose his house in the area...strange thing was the shire dropped the fines after the fires. Im not sure whether lm correct or not but since last years disaster l think you are now able to clear any tree including natives to make a fire break around your house...within reason of course.
My thoughts are with the residents too and it is great no lives have been lost. I know it was a controlled burn that caused the fire but l couldnt help but notice on the pictures in the news how many trees and how close they were to the houses that have been lost. Yes you live in bushland to enjoy the country side and the view but if l was lucky enough to have a home in the bush l would not have a tree within 30 metres of the house or shedding. JMO And l agree 100% with Rocksmith what stupid person approved a controlled burn off with such weather conditions around
