I just wanted to be left alone, l appreciated that all the fussing was done out of love but all l wanted was some space and time to myself. Im a very private person when it comes to my emotions so l needed to be alone to deal with it.
Its been nearly 7 years now, still feels like yesterday so its the same for me one day at a time. It hit my mother the hardest, she basically lost the will to live, l had to fight tooth and nail to get her back.
You described the feeling perfectly, an empty sad space that can never be filled. Thats why l feel so much for the parents of the children lost in the fire, losing one child is devastating so l cant even dare to amagine how it would feel to lose both of your children. Those poor people
And heres a hug for you If your like me you will never come to terms with it, you will just learn to cope with it. I really feel for families when l hear stories like this, having felt the pain of the loss of a child l have an idea of how they feel as you would too
I just tell myself lm still here and my boy wouldnt want me throwing the towel in so l just keep going day by day...lm lucky l was blessed with the strength of mind to cope.
It doesnt matter what the circumstances are when you lose a child...its tragic. To this day my sons death still haunts me, he supposedly just went to sleep but l will never know if he suffered any pain and l will never know if he was he frightened...its asylum stuff.
From what l understand they didnt worry about themselves, when they couldnt get through the doors, they tried a different approach. The firey's basically said they had no chance of getting the children out, so it must have been really bad. You cant always save your loved ones, circumstances can make it impossible sometimes.
Thier was a house fire last night at Dunkeld and the parents no matter how desperatley they tried couldnt save thier 8 and 3 year old children, they heard thier dying children screaming...that will be a scream that never leaves them. I feel so sad for them
Thats ok serene..he was laughable...l disowned him at a dance one night, much to my older sisters amusement..he bumped into me and the guy l was dancing with, the guy commented on what a pity it was drunks come along to an event like this and ruined it for others...l agreed totally and didnt own up to the fact that the drunk was my father
