those panels are putting out 2 amp tops , very little power ,fridges use quite a bit . Car batteries have about 100 cycles and then die , their death comes quick too , one day all full of life and sparks next carrion . Deep cycle batteries have about 7000 cycles and die a miserable death over years . Resuscitated my big ones from last year , swap a liter of fluid from the top cell to the bottom one , plays catch-up and starts the weak cell charging ,more so when I hook my white elephant charger/inverter up to it and give them 15.6 volts .
Does not sound cheap , but solar panels were not either 10 years ago . First grade panels are now less than 10 % of what they were .
Simple problems unless you know them cause real big problems
12 volt panel is not , they poke out 20 , voltage controllers have to control the volts going into batteries and have limits both in volts and amps . Places selling panels are not saying what the restrictions are and would sell any thing , try putting 3ooo watt (270 amp ) worth of power into 12 volt batteries , no controller that I know of will do that as the highest I know of do 90 amp and the best 60 besides this the batteries I have are supposed to charge at 10-13 % of their 20 hour capacity . All this info is skipped by the marketers of the products .
I would give your self 10 meters of diameter with no wires above at all for a twenty year old tree . Is that your drive in the photo ? Tis good if it is , That little cute tree in 70 years will be standing partly on it with a stump dia of a meter . Every bumble bee that will ever be , in your area , will visit that tree once it flowers proper . People driving past will say what a wonderful tree , your neighbours in fifty years might have different thoughts .
Those sale to grid systems are only half built as the power that a person produces should be stored rather than sold and bought back . Sell the extra . Bit harder to sort that out though .
Massive ??????????? don't you love it . Compared to what , pot holes on a road . If it was massive it would have been recorded by seismic gear . Any body missing a Russian drilling rig with a few Russians on it . A few weeks back somebody had a post about some space junk . could be connected
easy suggest you let her drive , might have to finish doing up the brakes or at least fix the semi auto gear box . Small problem of jumping out of first while on the down hill , mixes real well with excessive pumping of brakes ,more so on steep wet tracks , wooooohoooooooo moments .
I can't see much benefit , you still need a turning circle so a lot of the trailer has to be back anyway from the deck , having an area above the deck would be a problem off road .What is not shown in my pic I could not turn tight enough just before that pic was taken and had a wheel over the bank to stop hitting the caravan , not a good idea having caravan above the vehicle as well to manage as well . For some reason cameras don't work when every body's holding their breath and expecting calamity , least not round here .

A voter my work in progress first pic must be 1996 (house) as the two dogs have mussels on to protect them from 1080 poison spread for possums , these two had a sub-lethal poisoning and were stuffed for anything with another dog dead , not keen on 1080 poison . Second pic early 2 thousands after having second story and windows ,paint .
---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----This is all you need , total cost including rover and generator 10 thousand , comes with spare g/box , LD28 Nissan motor . True off road performance as I doubt rover could get back up the hill just to the left with a single set of chains today .A fifth wheel stops a lot of capacity to carry other stuff , quad bike and the like .
I think something wrong ... um......ummmmmmm its in the middle of a farking desert . Bit like building a ski lodge in the middle of town .I got very keen on these late eighties , even travelled around north Island having a look , nice finished when well built . Became a bit like a cult building them at the time . The log houses have a funny little quirk , they settle so windows and doors have to built to allow for it , no problem if allowed 4 ,bit iffy otherwise .
well , if you can photograph it , enter it . Tell you what if you like , I shall send you the one I ruined making my U-Tube dozer clip and you can fix it while taking pic with your new one .
yea Japan had no option but attack US for access to oil . Sanctions were there because of their attack on China . One led to another and I bet Japans occupation of Korea factored in the US's thinking .Still to be sorted .
