Miro, how could you forget your business partner? I am not married, and I'm not off knitting somewhere.
Just because I live in Australia for now, it seems that it's a case of "out of sight, out of mind"
Anyway, to prove to you that I should be included and thought of more often on this chocolate croissant threat, I shall announce that I am a fan of "Little Britain". That should do the trick.
In fact, I bought myself 2 Little Britain T-shirts as gifts to me. Though one is not about croissants, it IS about sweet pastry.
Now let me take it off, so I can read it, and write it out onto this thread....
OK, here goes. It reads:
CAKE. YES. CAKE. WE ALL LIKE A BIT O' CAKE, DON'T WE? I KNOW I DO. I LOVE A BIT, I DO.I LOVE A BIT O'CAKE. I DO. I JUST LIKE CAKE. CAKE
I agree, it is rude if the person has no legitimate reason to answer the call(s).
I had a friend whom I had known for many years, and lived outside the country at the time. We caught up when he was in town and had just sat down alfresco and about to order, when the cell phone goes off. Well, I was used to that happening on occasion as he was in business and a bit of a wheeler and dealer. Well, the call went on, and on, and on. I began to feel a bit of a goose. So, instead of feeling stupid just sitting there, I summoned the waiter and soon ordered some of their most expensive wines, and the tastiest of morsels. So he could take his time for all I cared! Unfortunately, he wasn't the least bit fazed at my ordering. Instead he complimented me on my good taste.Darn!
I believe you can. Because I believe there are people we are meant to meet and be with.
Which inherently means there is a cosmic kind of attraction there that brings the two people together in the first place. The getting to know you bit can be arduous, but it's really kinda only filling in the details.
Not here. Well, sometimes I feel a bit lost. And sometimes I am unhappy. I cannot tell a lie.
But mostly, I am the opposite. I can only speak for myself, it's true, but I wonder if your judgment may not be a tad harsh, from the kind of people I generally choose to relate to on CS.
Merry Christmas to you, Jan. I have seen you around. But I have only been here for a matter of months.
RE: Is there a better alternative than Internet Explorer ????
Thanks SF and others, for that tip.I've been using Mozilla Firefox for years now, and had not heard of Google Chrome. Must download it then.
