What??!!...lost and unhappy folk??...jeegads Jan!...wherever did you get that idea??...far from it, we are just generally rather busy at this time of year...so as in my case, I have invited the cast of the "Radio City Girls" who have a show in Malta, to my tiny flat for a little eggnog...so I'm busy trying to keep 24 women entertained...I'm tyring to do a male version of what they do onstage in my shark suit...so this is just to say you haven't been forgotten, just join the party babe, and have a chocolate croissant!!

I'm a fairly recent member, only the last 3 months. I don't know anyone and no-one knows me but this is an internet site and by it's very nature is impersonal and transient. People join for different reasons. It is easy to strike up friendships with other forum members but at the end of the day, it's not the same as a normal relationship and is a case of out of sight out of mind in most cases.
I hope everyone on here has a good Christmas and New Year, I am one of the lucky ones who are not alone this holiday but I am nevertheless wishing Santa would pop something a bit bigger in my stocking - George Clooney would do for a start.

Do you think that? For some it is, I guess, I know when I have felt alone, I have come here for laughs and fun. I like to stay in touch with the people from this forum, that I do and I do.

I for one have always appreciated your No-Nonsense Common Sense, and your sometimes Risque sense of humour. Of course we miss you! You know what its like with any "long distance" friendships...?.....they have to be maintained, just like anything else in life ... the Human condition is a lazy one ....!

Not here. Well, sometimes I feel a bit lost. And sometimes I am unhappy. I cannot tell a lie.
But mostly, I am the opposite.
I can only speak for myself, it's true, but I wonder if your judgment may not be a tad harsh, from the kind of people I generally choose to relate to on CS.
