Well, if you care enough to deal with her at all--I'd say it might be a good idea to ask what is wrong, and also ask her if she'd like to talk about it. If she doesn't feel like talking about whatever the problem is with you, then I'd just leave her alone until she calms down. Also, depending on how close you are and what your relationship is--it may be nice to tell her that you'll be there for her for if and when she wants to talk.
And I have to agree with you mixxy, due to the fact that my dad was a dead beat father, and was never involved in any of his kids lives. I think he was off getting drunk somewhere That's what he said, anyway.
