Stop! So many younger men fall for older women nowadays! My daughter used to say, "Mom, I'm not bringing my friends home... they think you're hot!". I felt so bad! At the time, they were only about 16!!! It was just like the song, "Stacey's Mom Has Got It Goin' On"!
No, he'd dumped me way before & then we got back together afterward. It wasn't the outward scars that bothered me as much as the hidden scars that became apparent as time went on.
My ex-boyfriend had a small scar on his cheek from a motorcycle accident. Not too noticable. I guess it would depend if it was a deforming scar or just a small scar. Yes, I guess, in a way, I can be a bit shallow, as can we all!!
I truly have to agree! I've seen them perform this twice in concert with video of the original members in the background. I got goosebumps! Ironic & sad how the tragedy happened not too long after this song came out.
Oh, very much so! It can be a big help in seeing what may have gone wrong in past relationships as well. And that way you'll be sure not to repeat history & make the same mistake a second time.
Yes, I've kept one since I was in 7th grade. I haven't written in it so much lately, since my mom passed away. I guess I just can't get into it as much anymore. I've always encouraged my daughter to keep one too. I think she still does. It's a good way to go back through the different stages of your life & see how you've changed & grown. It can also bring back some great memories & make you laugh at things you may not remember until you read about it again!
That is so very true! AND he has to get along with my friends. I've learned over the years to listen more closely to my friends on my picks of guys. If they have a bad feeling about him, I need to take heed. They're usually right. The thing is that they're on the outside & aren't all starry-eyed. I value their objective opinions!
I wasn't looking for "equipment", just suggestions on how to pass the time. I do appreciate all the suggestions. It was just that I was at work & was just seeing what people came up with. It was all in good fun. I hope you're all having a great weekend! We're getting hit with the remnants of Hurricane Hanna here. We're having downpours. But I can't honestly say we don't need it either. It's a good lazy Saturday. I'm leaving shortly to go shopping with my friend & her daughter.

Thanks for the suggestion, sweetie! But that would involve going out to buy knitting needles & yarn... can't leave. My aunt taught me to knit when I was little & my grandma taught me to crochet.
