While I really like a lot of the modern bands & many classic rock bands, I would have to say my favorite is still Lynyrd Skynyrd. Free Bird is my all-time favorite song!
My daughter's a very good cook too! I'll bet you had her right next to you in the kitchen, while she was growing up, didn't you? That's how my daughter learned.
Not really NEED to, but WANT to... furniture-wise. But that'll come in time. I'll have what I have for now. But I'd really like to paint. And my best friend & her sister-in-law are giving me decorations.
FINALLY!!! I got a call from my mortgage broker last evening... I've been APPROVED!! I have settlement next week!! I went out & celebrated last night... not much sleep! But hey, I'm a homeowner!!!
Just emailed the mortgage broker, asking if there was any news. He said he doesn't believe the closing will be Friday. He said that even after it goes through the underwriter, if approved, there are some other small hoops to jump through. He told me the earliest he believes we could have closing is the middle of next week. Anybody have anything to settle an ulcer??
I worked myself up to 1st chair by my junior year. But I went out for swing flags then & only did the stage band thing. Then I only did the bandfront thing in my senior year, because I was on co-op for beauty school.
I guess you could say my voice is my musical instrument too. But I only do karaoke now.

Never had any serious car collisions, but like apparently many on here, I also was hit by a car when I was about 10. No serious injuries or broken bones. I got up & apologized to the guy.
I'm still waiting for the final verdict on the house. And my closing's scheduled for Friday morning! It's with the underwriter right now. I should hear today or tomorrow. Wish me luck! I've already given notice to my landlords. I may be homeless soon......
