Unusual Recipes - starting with some medieval English recipes
here's a rilly simple one. Spices sound a bit devilish
It's called "Pokerounce"
Simmer, without boiling, for two minutes:
225 stiff honey a pinch of black pepper
a pinch of cinammon a pinch of ground ginger
Cool slightly
Cut into quarters four 1/2in thik slices of white bread, lightly toasted, and put on a plate, warmed.
Pour over honey and stick all over with pine nuts.
Eat while hot.

You might be right.
All this hard work on CS has given me an appetite.
Must have something to eat. Back a bit later.
Go get some rest, Harry. You need to bright eye-ed and bushy tailed, remember?

Hey, Sue. Wrote back to ya!
As for Harry, we shall have to send him your way for some proper English tuition.
No idea what they teach in America. One wouldn't want to mistake knackered for knocked up. Surely!
Talk soon!

Unusual Recipes - starting with some medieval English recipes
Hi Summer,
I mentioned you this morning when Harry and I chatted.
We had got on to the recipes, and he was on this thread the other night but he couldn't place you.
Not sure why he prefers the whiter shade of pale type look to his handsome, debonair looks.
Maybe he doesn't want the women swarming at him, asking for so many recipes!
One of them might ask him to cook!
