Helloooooooo Miss Claayer! So nice to see you. Kalispera? Kala' ?
We all need a break from CS sometimes. Hope you've had lots of fun in the meantime though. I did that recently, but I went on a recruitment drive with an Aussie g/f currently in Mykonos instead Now she is joining CS and possibly her ex-husband (they're good buddies) who is here, as well. Blame it on skype!
It's 12.30am here, so I will soon be in dreamland. I'm hopeless. I had to have a nap this afternoon as I couldn't stay awake. Fortunately, I can just shut my office door. So, for me, these days any time seems to be a good time for me to go into dreamland!
Hi to all my dear friends. It has taken me a week, and a bit of fun in between. But it is time for me to take a break from CS. Perhaps it may only be a short one. I know I will miss posting on the forums so much.
I have new tenants moving in this morning, in my office premises. I shall also immerse myself in my much neglected work. Maybe a fresh start is what I need. Don't we all. I thank you for your gracious company up until now.
Be safe, and continue to have fun. And please remember to let me know how you are.
Well, after much deliberation, I found that I had little option other than to vote for 'Stupidity'.
The reason for this, as much as I wanted to vote for 'gilly' hands down, I couldn't help posting about 10 stupid questions on the 'Stupid Questions' thread tonight, then I went off and made stupid comments on another.
As if this weren't sufficient, I have been asking a CS friend of mine SO many stupid questions lately.
So you see? It's just gotta be a vote for 'Stupidity'
Goodness, it must be growing more than I remember. Flying in to Dallas itself at night was a stunning sight. But when we went to Dallas one day, couldn't believe how much concrete there was. It was a bit eery visiting the building where Lee Harvey Oswald was supposed to have shot Kennedy, and to actually look through that very window and see the spot where it happened, just before the underpass after which the presidential car disappeared.
Where I was staying was sooooo whisper quiet, you could hear a pin drop, sooo sleepy Mind you, I HAD flown in from New York, where the decibel count was up a few notches
Oh, I just remembered what they call those huge cars in Texas. But I won't repeat it here!
I jut want to say a thank you to laura, even though I have done so personally with her, for her post a couple of days ago. Just a finished looked at a particular thread for what i thought was the last time, and was about to permanently delete my profile, I saw laura's post flash across the screen to soemthing I had just posted. My face lit up, as I can always be assured of a delightful remark from our lovely laura.
So, I sit here this moment looking out the window of a hotel on teh foreshore of a regional coastal town in Sth Australia where I work today. I have just had my oysters and champagne, but instead of a fabulous sunset, I stare at something just as dramatic, but on the other end of dramatic. Choppy seas and gusty winds. It will make for an interesting take off in the 30 seater twin engine plane.
Hoping o speak with some of you maybe later. And yes, I am starting to exercise a little more self control, well, almost. I have made a few posts over the last couple of days, wehre I, let's say, just couldn't help myself. It's the "Samantha Honeycomb" in me, I guess.
That would be the ideal. It is a matter of whether or not I can be disciplined enough. Maybe you can synchronise your world clocks, and if you see me online when I should be working or sleeping, you can tell me where to go. OFFLINE?
I have been very humbled by your comments. Thank you so much. So nice to read your words. I actually had a busy work day today, and am trying SOOOO hard to be disciplined so I could pop in for a few minutes, and then back to work.
To my friends and others whom I have met along the way that enjoy my company...
No, I didn't get too wild in RL. More than I can say for some, though
(Just kidding)
