RE: If you could pick a dream job what would it be?

Two dream jobs

1. Food critic regarding top local restaurants, and some not so local, like in Florence, Paris, St Petersburg, even Singapore smitten

2. Travel reporter, going to places of your OWN choicecheering
(and staying at 5 star hotels)

Thanks Robert,

Yes, I am excited for me as he has been talking about this for some time. He would sit at the piano and compose when his feet couldn't even touch the floor. It was kinda haunting as his father was a contemporary composer (turned lawyer!).

Anyway, he is occupied f/time with other work, so this will be in addition to that. Keeps him well occupied. A good thing.thumbs up

My 23 yr old son (on Saturday) told me today he wants to save for a decent keyboard as he wants to start serious musical composition, and maybe also play in his friend's band. I'm really thrilled for him. yay

He is very talented. All those years of piano lessons I took him to will finally benefit him (and his father's and grandfather's genes help!thumbs up )

Barry Manilow, eat your heart out!laugh

RE: Do I really look THAT bad? I don't think I do.

Place no meaning on photo ratings. I don't. Though I always appreciate anyone taking the trouble to do that.

Anyway, remeber the saying, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" ?

Well, unfortunately, some people behold only themselves.

I'm sure it is they, who give such lowly ratings. Kinda makes themselves feel better maybe?

handshake cheers

Hi Hz,

Sorry to hear about your friend.

That would bother me, too, not hearing knowing the person had been so ill. Hopefully, someone reading your post might have heard from her, and pass on to you how she is doing.comfort

Moving to Tassie would be hugely inconvenient. laugh

RE: Guys who cook - what special meal would you prepare to impress that special someone on a first date

It wasn't a date. But my cousin, his wife and myself were recently treated to a 4 course dinner, all bar the dessert, prepared by their bachelor friend, whom I have known through them for years.

Not only was the food delicious, but we were all waited on hand and foot.

So nice to be spoiled sometimessmitten

RE: What's your favorite fruit?

I do love strawberries.

Also mango and cherries this time of the year in OZ. Banana is yum, except if you cop the 'flowery' tasting ones. laugh

As a treat, morello cherries, chilled. With a drizzle of Bombay gin to bring out the flavour!smitten
