I think men who know their way around a kitchen are awesome and lots of men are really good cooks. So guys what meal would you prepare to impress a lady on your first date
i... um, burn toast. put oj on corn flakes, that sort of thing... i don't have the patience for it. funnily though, my mom is a freakin AMAZING cook... guess it must skip a generation... my kids would be chefs though, i'm sure of it!
Who's on the way to who, here? VA then SC, or SC then VA? Either way...those both sound good, guys. Honestly, if a guy wants to cook me a meal, it doesn't have to be fancy.
And yes, many men can cook. I've learned most of what I know of it from two of my husbands! (And then a lot more from here.)

I did too! My ex-husband was very good in the kitchen. His mom said she had him right beside her from the time he could reach the counter. And I did the same thing with our daughter. She's a very good cook, as well!
My ex-boyfriend was a very good cook too. I used to love to watch him cooking. Since his motorcycle accident, unfortunately, he has no skill in the kitchen anymore...

Aww... My 2nd husband (the father of the boys) was raised in the kitchen like that, too. My mom was always kicking us out, couldn't stand to have anyone under her feet while she was cooking.
My late husband was a professional cook for years in Key West, FL and Akron, OH. Unfortunately, he didn't cook enough while we were together to teach me a lot...first because of us being in the bars, and then because of his cancer and the fact that he couldn't eat anymore. I'm not bad, but I'm certainly not up to his level.
