Oh, so this man is in his bed and the IDF goes in (the same IDF that Wow says are "the most highly trained and precision tacticle force on earth ) Murders an innocent man in his sleep, yesterday, and you say "Oh well" to bad for him.?????
[quote Albertaghost]Oh I've answered your silly question a few times before Sillybunny.
Sillybunny? Is this what they teach you in Disinformation School?
[quote Albertaghost] You on the other hand have not answered mine - which court has guaranteed Israel's safety since they view the defensive settlements as illegal?
International courts don't guarantee safety Al. They adjudicate violations of international law.
Israeli troops have shot dead a sleeping Palestinian man during a dawn raid in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
Family members found Suliman al-Qawasmeh, 66, in a pool of blood in the bedroom after soldiers broke into several homes in the city's al-Sheikh neighbourhood on Friday.
The raid came less than 24 hours after six Hamas fighters who had been on hunger strike in Palestinian jails were released on Thursday.
Five of them were from Hebron, and one of them, Wael Bitar, arrested by the Israelis, lived one storey below the victim, residents said.
"I was praying when they entered. I do not know how they opened the door. They put their hand to my mouth and a rifle to my head," al-Qawasmeh's wife told the Reuters news agency.
"I was shocked. They did not allow me to talk. I asked them, 'What did you do?' They asked me to shut up."
Later, the Israeli army issued a statement acknowedging that al-Qawasmeh's killing was unintended. It said he "was present in one of the terrorist's homes".
An Israeli military spokesman told the AFP news agency: "There is no indication that was involved in any terror activity at any stage and therefore we regret the incident."
An immediate investigation has been ordered, with a report expected by next week, according to the Israeli army statement.
Conrad73: And SB approves! Palestinians never owned the disputed Places! Gaza was Egypt's,Westbank was Jordan's! The was no Massacre at Jenin,BTW,except in the head of SB! Neither was there in Gaza/Cast Lead, even Hamas isn't that stupid to claim that there was! All in your head,SB! All part of your ploy to de-legitimize Israel
SilverBirch: Conrad , I told you twenty times at least, that I don't advocate killing in any form. I KNOW that dialogue can resolve all issues. In a democratic nation as Israel professes to be, the first thing that should be done is to have the settlement issue addressed by international courts. Let the WORLD decide. And take the results , to the letter, to the people.!
So , in retrospect, we do agree both sides are firmly entrenched in their own positions. We know Netanyahu holds all the cards and , so far, isn't going to give in on any of the key issues. So what does that leave us with? Another up-coming slaughter in Gaza. Which WILL test the relationship with Egypt. And I know Netanyahu cares not what Mubarak thinks. He'll vaporized them with the drop of a hat if the need arises. So , without any direction, Israel will continue more of the same. JMO
You see Pat, I have conceded complicity. What do you want? Do you want me to advocate more slaughters of the penned-in Palestines? Anothe thousand or so just to "shut them up" for a while? Not going to happen. I don't see you listing the atrocities of the IDF. You never concede, nor does Wow, or Al, and certainly not Conrad. Al et al won't even admit to being Jewish! You guys are simple propagandists. As always JMO
Yes. And with that I applaud your openess. I still see a "inconsitant" enthusiasm in your posts. And, again, question your motivation. You see Pat part of my passion is born out of what the Zionist is doing to America. The infiltration of our government by Mossad. The subsequent steering of our "destiny" and the deaths of American soldiers fighting and dieing for Israel. It sickens me. Pat. The Zionist entity is a cruel omnipotent evil Pat. They are making things miserable for Americans.
Pat, We both know it is a awful situation. Yes Hamas fighters seek shelter in building they must know has other people/families living in and yes the IDF WILL just destroy the entire building irreguardless of the "colatterial" deaths. Yes it is a desparate situation. But what is a "fair and Just" solution? Should Palestinians settle for a "fragmented" security barrier State? Leave behind Jerusalem, their place of worship, forever knowing that they would have to be subjected to the humilating shake=down searchs the IDF will subject them to every time they want to go to their religious ceremonies?
So Conrad ran off without answering, Albertaghost won't answer, and ttom is dodgeing the same question? Interesting.
The International Community see the settlements as illegal. The International Community views the treatment of the Palestine s as collective punishment.
Real funny to you ttom. Not so funny to the families of the ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED MEN WOMEN AND CHILDREN SLAUGHTERED BY "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL "NEW" DEMOCRACY !! Nor is it funny to the families of the rest of the penned in Gazans that are waiting for the next SLAUGHTER-HOUSE to begin any day now. (five scolds to you ttom.)
Nope, and it is me asking because I want to see if you give the same answer you gave befor. Why? So I can establish your motivation and (if you change your answer) you integrity.
Never mind the facts thread? Pat/Mac, Israel slaughtered nearly ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED MEN WOMEN AND CHILDREN LAST YEAR.????????? Can you two count to ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED? Those THREE HUNDRED CHILDREN SLAUGHTERED (in ten days) were SLAUGHTERED BY THE IDF Pat. Are those facts and figures good enough for starters?
Palestinian Statehood at Last
And by whose legislation was it created Conrad?
