I think it depends on the people. Some people are more dominant, others more submissive. Some men want a dominant woman...they don't want to be "in charge" or have to make decisions. I have seen profiles that actually say that's what they're looking for, so at least they're self-aware.

For me, a relationship works best as an equal partnership because I don't want to be either dominated, nor to dominate, and I'm a strong person with a strong will...and the ability to be soft, too. But that's not true for everyone because we're not all the same.

It boils down to the best relationship being when you find someone who fits you well so that you mesh as a couple.

I've certainly gotten the one about throwing like a girl...to which I say, "Duh!"

But I've had men enjoy the fact that I tend to shop like a man...and my sons appreciate it too.

Other than that, not really. I've just had most of the guys at the VFW say that if anyone ever comes in to rob the place, they'll let me deal with them if I'm there...but they'll be there for back up. I just get to be the front line.



I find that funny coming from Vietnam and Gulf War vets.

Sorry to hear it might hit your land, too. And yet, everyone wants us to pull our troops and make peace...and it's not possible to make peace with extremists. I agree with Cardsfan, I think we're going to enter WWIII...God help us all.
