Hossian........you are partially correct. The other 80% of the our ( USA ) decision to attack Libya is true egotistical arrogance in the name of humanitarianism. The Libya people are fighting a revolution and should be left to their own means to do so without foreign intervention. This will certainly lead to troops on the ground and occupation - which eventually will serve only to fuel hatred towards the US by the Libya people. It will turn out very poorly - as the others we have occupied ........
It's one thing to ask GOD for help for yourself .........
It's another to Beg him to help your friends suffering from painful disease . It naturally makes one completely lose faith when God selfishly and repeatedly punishes his children literally to death before your eyes.
I feel very fortunate to have been born in the USA. I used to be very proud of my county's actions.
But we as a nation have been also very spoiled , and along with spoiled comes denial, entitlement and self-indulgence. We have become a nation who conquers other countries sometimes unilaterally and sometimes in the name of justice ( our justice ) We are a divided nation with decaying morals and ethics, and our economic picture is direct result of our social degradation.
The world is full of horrible dictators and murderers. But there comes a time when a country needs to pull back and clean up it's own mess before continuing to pursue the world's problems. I question our motives for any foreign invasion.... This country Libya has not attacked us ....we should butt-out ! It is their revolution and we are manipulating it by intervening.
Ttom , we already have troops on the ground targeting sites and giving coordinates for cruise missiles.........do you think the missiles just find their own way ? I guarantee we'll own yet another country to restore at our expense with this one ........
Each one of those cruise missiles costs $ 1.4 million dollars ........guess we should just fire -up our printing presses again and print more money ........
It just makes me beside myself with anger that our government is leading yet another coalition war overseas when right here at home we have an economic disaster of unpresidented proportion
Our government and military must think we have unlimited funds to support this crap - while so many Americans are continuing to lose their homes and out of work
