The example is the fact that the stock market began to crash last week becuase of the instability in Libya and oil production. What was the first and most inportant line of business ?? Having the Saudi's conveniently make the pledge at the perfect time to cover the oil supply ..........

The USA or any country going into Libya "assumes temporary ownership" if they do - and the excessive expense that comes along with that. We already have two wars going and record unemployment and economic problems right here at home . The money would be better spent developing our nation's natural gas resources for fuel dependency - and putting a bunch of Americans back to work again !
The people on the streets have been interviewed and most of them don't want intervention or invasion by especially the USA... Their only request the other day was a "no fly zone"
I am sure the international community is primarily concerned with the human rights casualties ....and not the instability causing oil prices and stock markets to crash .......
Too bad there isn't a worldwide accepted generic democracy temporary government that some of these countries could use till they get their feet back on the ground .......
