And, when was the last time you put a scuba tank on in remote spots of the world to see what's really happening to our oceans ? In fact, have you ever even taken a moment in the last few years to get out from behind your computer and "Googling" everything ?
Kinda seems fair consideringthe Repubs have filibutered so many times, screaming in congressional sessions, threatening on TV about everything from removing Obama to gov shutdowns etc etc etc ........ I think initially it was the repubs that started this childish extreemism ....
Well Garden .....what do ya think ? In this case when we see Polar Bears dieing on an icberg because of global warming - do we just dismiss it as another day ?
Only a complete fool would think that the Gulf Spill shows signs that "resilience" has preveiled and the ocean environment has recovered.........
We learned that our technology was rediculously behind the times when it comes to dealing with a mess like this one ....and both the government and corporations conspired to sink the problem with dispersents
Paldi, I think the argument should be there shouldn't be a "next time".....and if we are to install wells deep in the ocean - we should have true redundancy in fail-safes to prevent this sort of thing - as well as a much better plan for immediate surface collection and processing the spill.....
This spill is already all but forgotten ... which is a very sad thing
