To openly put another member down or call them a player because what may or may not have happened between them, is imo wrong. This type of thing should be left to email between the two or others if they so wish. I saw a few posts recently that i thought were tantamount to slander. It has been said on here many times by many people...three sides to a story and all that. Players are part of r/l as well as online, as are disagreements and fallouts, but to call someone a player espescially on an open forum because things just didnt work out is imo just wrong and smacks of bitterness.
He made a bet (whilst drunk) that he could hitch hike around Ireland with a fridge. True to his word he carried it out. Starting from just outside Dublin, the rules were, he should travel anticlockwise and keep as close to the coast as possible. Its a great read and gives an insight into Irish humour and hospitality.
When i first visited Ireland i was amazed how many people waved at me as i drove by, especially in the south and around the west coast. I might add that at the time i was driving on English no. plates. Yes, a warm welcome is guaranteed on The Emerald Isle.
I mentioned in an earlier post, the Dalai Lama stated he thought it was a good thing the games are to be held in China and he hoped there would be no disruption. No comment to this on here, or anywhere else from what i can gather. Seems strange.
