I never suffered from fear or anxiety, but sure enough I have my worries.
In general terms, finacial security and social support, as well as physical exercise and meditation, reduce depression and anxiety. Not that long time ago, there was an artical in the Guardian about junk food associated with depression.
I myself feel much better mentally and emotionally since I started to pratice Qigong on regular basis.
Someone in his late twenties / early thirties, working and living on his own, is hardly a kid. Not even for his grand-mother, only for you. Or are you suggesting peadophilia here?
I have got involved a few times. Women accept it as normal and usually are greateful. Men got bewildered - they don't know how to react.
But "white-knighting" isn't about fighting for the good and fair and the little ones in the presence of real danger. It's plain and simple patronising, even if very well meant. Or am I wrong?
