There's no universal rule of grieving and getting over your loss.

Do not compare a person to another.

Be grateful for the opportunity to enjoy a company / relationship that gave you so much.

Give yourself a time to grieve and reflect.

Then move on with a light heart.

Well... from my experience: if your counterpart is an overconfident son-of-a-peach, when there's no grounds for being that way, then it's definetely a "he". Empirical evedence, as meeting in person, supported my theory so far.

But I'm oppen to other suggestions.

We are free here to state our age, gender, location, marital status, whatsnot and, as a potato sack from USA would say, etc.

And everybody is free to state whatever. And post a photo of whatever.

Leaving aside every other etc, how are you sure (in case you are sure) about your counterpart's gender?
