It would have been a real treat to see some babies but next time I'm there, I'll keep an eye on it. Saw quite a few chipmunks around the park too and I always bring along some peanuts just in case. laugh

RE: Wildlife picture thread

Thanks Rob and I didn't even notice the "teats" so thanks for pointing that out too. giggle I was quite surprised to see a dear there and would have missed it had it not been for the sound of it stepping on some branches that drew my attention to it. Anyway, I'm glad I took my camera with me. grin Loving all your photos Rob and keep em coming. applause hug

RE: Don't Bear All !!

Actually, I miss the more personal interactions that used to be shared in the forums as it allowed others to get a real feel for the personality of the individual and this led to private email conversations with others. Of course people aren't going to disclose very private or sensitive matters in an open forum if they're not comfortable with it but I really enjoyed the sharing on a deeper level than it is now. I think a lot of people have backed away from sharing too much due to being shamed, ridiculed or even attacked.

RE: Towering inferno in England

It's amazing how people come together to help each other in spite of the governments reluctance to. I simply can't wrap my head around the fact that the government there isn't doing much more for these people....shame on them. very mad

RE: Let's get physical !

Good for you applause Staying fit or at least trying to should be an on going endeavour and that is what I've been doing. cartwheel gotta go joy

RE: Towering inferno in England

It sounds to me that they really need to review their building codes for fire safety....what a darn shame that a building that size has only one means of escape and was basically a death trap. uh oh sigh wave

RE: Towering inferno in England

In spite of the cladding and how it was installed being a possible reason for why the fire progressed as it had, I think if the building fire alarm system was working as it should, people would have had a much better chance of escaping. conversing wave

RE: Wildlife picture thread

Hiya Rob wave Excellent photos you're sharing and thank you so much hug

It's been a number of years since I've seen any deer at my local nature trail but I managed to get a few pics of this one while there yesterday. applause

RE: Towering inferno in England

This is so sad blues sad flower Is it true that the building fire alarms weren't functioning? Someone's gonna have to answer for that. I'm truly amazed at how Londoner's are coming together to help.
