I have no clue where that house is but I'm glad I don't live next door to it. There is one house near me that has a bunch of those inflatable decos in their front yard which is about the size of a postage stamp so it looks a bit cramped.
I think it's good for children to learn responsibility early on whether it's chores or a little job as long as it isn't something that's forced on them.
Hiya Dee I've been on the forums for a number of years and have seen many fights during that time...yep, there were some real brutal ones "once upon a time" (sorry to those who despise hearing about the past ) There were a few men and women who would step in to defend one or the other in an attempt to stop the fighting but what ended up happening is the person defending would end up getting attacked too and then there was an all out war. The site mods banned a number of people over it and the rest is history. There are times when I read some of the stuff here and want so badly to call them out on their bullying but I do my best to hold back because I know I'll end up in a war of words that I'd prefer not to engage in and I have no doubt many others feel the same way I do about it. It's easy for us to tell you to ignore anyone who is upsetting you but I get it that there are situations where we have to stand up for ourselves sometimes.
Grudges are baggage best left at the door but not necessarily forgotten about but there are some situations that are extremely difficult to set aside. For the most part, I'm forgiving unless the person continues to be an arsewipe at which point they are discarded as such.
I hear ya Dee....I think most of us here are pretty much all Trumped out and just want to get on with what this site is all about....connecting, not disconnecting as those political topics tend to do.
Yeah, trigs is fine. And, I hear ya on the negativity here....too much of it lately. There's quite a few good folks around and we need them to stay here.
Interesting how things just happen as they should....little nudges me thinks. Did your move go well? The winter season is the best time to catch up on your painting and yeah, some things aren't a priority and will still be there staring at ya come springtime.
