Wanna play a joke on your nail tech?? I have a friend who pulled this one, the whole nail salon cracked up.

My friend was going in to get her "fills" done, but before she went in, she popped a Hersheys kiss in her mouth. When it had become melted & gooey she scraped her tongue with her nails & waited for the chocolate to dry.

Wish I had a picture of the nail tech's face when she saw under those nails.

Anyway just wanted to share the story.

OMG, funny you should bring this up. There has been a couple of stories in the news lately about that very thing!!! Couple of people have said they were actually awake while in surgery & they could hear everything that was going on. One of them claimed she could also feel everything the drs. were doing to her and there was nothing she could do about it because her eyes were taped shut(standard procedure) and she had a tube down her throat so she couldn't say anything. Needless to say she is sueing the drs. & hospital.

How horrible that experience must have been.

I love my gloves, they keep me warm. I always know where my gloves are, in my pocket.

No, I haven't tried that, but would love to.

When one is in a tank all senses are deprived of outside influences, right? sight, smell, touch, taste, & hearing.

About the only problem I might have would be my tinnitus (constant ringing/buzzing) in my ears. I think it would seem so loud so as to be deafening.

Can I climb out of my hole yet?? I ran for cover when I saw everyone arguing.

I took a short break when the fireworks started because it was too painful to see all the people I've come to care about hurting one another.

I am, by nature, a non-confrontational person. When I see people arguing I run & hide. I guess that comes from my childhood when my parents started fighting, I would run outside & hide somewhere till I thought I was safe to go home. I have come to think of the CS site as a virtual home.

So, if I promise to be good, can I come back???

Negative Attitudes

There are a bunch of "Gloomy Gus' & Gerts" around here lately. This USED to be a fun place to be. At one time I looked forward to logging on to CS because I knew the people here had a POSITIVE attitude towards life. Now it seems it's all negative.

Some are taking the differences of opinion WAY TOO SERIOUSLY, some are just downright MEAN.

Lighten up guys. This is supposed to be an ADULT site, ya'll are acting like a bunch of spoiled 5 year olds.

If you are of a different mind set than someone else, that's great!! That's what makes the world go round. Sometimes it's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it.

Learn to laugh at yourself. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES.

I hope no one is offended by this post, but I just had to get this off my chest.
