Loud and clear yes .. its biased and quite shallow at to times to be soo judgemental but its the unfortunate truth.

ohh one min .. if u talk of spirit in the sense of the human spirit .. umm i think its synonymous with soul.

Otherwise spirit could also be the spirit or zest with which u lead life ...

As such talking of spirits can also be talking of ghosts which again are considered lost souls.

Further , my belief so far ... all life form thats alive is actually some soul in its cycle of liberation . I mean based on the philosophy of Karma , ur soul occupies a higher or lower life form on its journey towards liberation.

I believe thats a possibility too. But then in some religions its believed the spirit or soul can take the body of an animal , human or any life form till its liberated ..
