I call it the tape. I spent alot of energy, not too long ago, shutting off the tape. It had become a co-conspirator in keeping me someplace I no longer had a place.


In and of itself, it's a fairly benign entity...

but it will be awhile before I trust it again.

I am unsure of what I am...

I am many things, most of them I like, some I do not. I refuse to see any of them as my identity, maybe it's because "I" am not any of those things singularly, but the sum of them respectively. More likely, I believe I have manufactured for myself a person blindspot and hope to circumvent it by asking the mirror...


I don't ask people why they love me,

I can't imagine an answer I would like.

When I'm dating(currently on a break), I like to meet as soon as we are both comfortable. Locally this is generally less than 2 weeks, and consists of a few emails, maybe some time on IM's and several hours on the phone.


I've never attempted a long distance relationship.
