I'm going to use an old sales theory here. A salesman sees four people a day. One of the four buy something from him, three of the four do not. The salesman wants to improve the percentage of people that buy from him. If he makes changes to what he is doing based on the responses of the three people that bought nothing, he is likely to change what he did with the customer that did buy from him. So he gives up what he already had with no proof that what he is changing will gain him the sales he was already loosing, or he can look to what he did with the one customer that bought from him, and make sure he does what he did with that customer to the best of his ability, with all potential customers. In practice this is likely to gain him some sales from the 75% that were not buying, with out giving up the 25% that he already has.
An almost unbelievably ugly t-shirt with a redneck joke on it.
Most people who have spent even a couple of hours around me, know I would never wear that shirt. It was a gift from the woman I was married to at the time. I guess it's not her fault, we had only been together a little over five years.
It's going to be a real nightmare when the people of this country awake from their dreams. I hope they remember that mercy is about what type of person the giver is, not what type of person the reciever is. While I have compassion for the people who stand on pedestals erected act the expense of their fellow man, I have no compassion for the pedestals themselves.
"The quality or state of being sincere; honesty of mind or intention; freedom from simulation, hypocrisy, disguise, or false pretense; sincereness."-wiktionary
In case you already understood the definition the sincerity...
The gap in understanding may exist in how what we veiw as the question being asked. You are focusing on the broad intial question presented. I focused on the more narrow final question. "Why do men lie about their jobs?" It is possible that I am over estimating the inteligence of the average adult, but in my opinion, most people know the answer too that question. If an individual knows the answer to a question, but they ask the question anyways, they are not really asking a question, but using the question as a means of making a statement. In this case the statement being made is "men lie". So, we have a statement, disquised as question. This does not seem to be of honest intention, or free from false pretense.
It doesn't sound like not being there is going to reduce your pain.
I don't know how to deal with that type of pain, but seeking out people who do seems like a good thing.
This is a very serious matter, so I feel the need to say...This is only my opinion, and it is formed from very limited facts. I am sure, in your heart, you know better than I do,what is best for you.
Sure, I doubt the scincerity of the original question. It just isn't that complicated. Therefore I consider it to be a vent, ableit a fairly harmless one.
"LOL as if the whole concept of providing for your family revolves around location."
The whole concept?...not the whole concept, but available resources do play a large role. It's a little tricky to make steel, food, and lumber out of sand.
"And a lot of people would consider Mexico a superior graphic location regarding climate"
Maybe for vacationing, but I doubt that type of heat helps productivity.
"so how about we just send a few million Americans down there to soak up everything they have and over burden their systems"
Yes, I would hate to sacrifice my second car and the TV in my bedroom so some "foreigner" could feed his kids.
"Think they wouldn’t complain? If so, you are seriously kidding yourself."
I think many would complain, just like many here do. The only difference between "us" and "them" is location.
"The US is not really geographically superior, only technologically and financially"
How do you think we gained this position? Do you really think we are in someway superior to them or could it be that we had better resources to work with?
"And just as you aren’t going to like someone stealing half your paycheck"
The underlying basis of this statement is too provincial to bother with.(too much ground to cover here)
"most don’t like illegals coming here to steal from the country."
Most people like driving gas guzzlers with the AC blasting, that doesn't make them right.
